Coastal Portraits is the result of a partnership between the French photographer Tibo and the English non-governmental organisation River Ocean Research & Education (riverOcean ), with the aim of combining social and environmental commentary on the period of rapid change which both countrys are currently experiencing. The project takes place on both sides of the Channel focusing on the people and shoreline of East Sussex and the Somme.

Coastal Portraits est le résultat d’une collaboration entre le photographe français Tibo et l’organisation environnementale anglaise River Ocean Research & Education (riverOcean ). Ce projet a été réalisé des deux côtés de la Manche et propose une série de prises de vues aériennes, des paysages, de la faune et de la flore ainsi qu’une série de portraits et d’entretiens des personnes vivant sur le littoral depuis plusieurs générations.
