Opportunities Provides information and support for environmental education. Can make visits to schools (Environmental Education Officer), support longer term projects and provide specific information on water pollution (Pollution Officer).

Organisation: Environment Agency (formally N.R.A.) Opportunities: The Agency can supply speakers, river and coastal data, educational leaflets and posts. The Agency also runs a Schools environmental awards scheme called Greenlink.

River Ocean Foundation

Organisation: Charity

Opportunities: We produce Sea and River Discovery Days in the field, offers assistance for LowTide preparation, and provides stocked aquaria to schools and community groups on a limited basis. We also offer a resource library, including the Strandline Resource Boxes. We have an interactive web site for children, and publish this catalogue and other water education material for teachers on-line. We provide teacher education courses, including Internet training and facilities, and produce an annual conference on Environmental Education. European links.
