Meet at the seashore centre, Goodrington Sands at 11:00am for a Rock pool Ramble with Nigel Smallbones, coastal zone manager and Meirel Whaites, marine interpretation ranger, finish time 1.00pm. Low Tide 2001 in West Sussex

Discovery Walk
Meet by the gate at far end of West Wittering beach car park (parking fee payable) at 2:00pm for a LowTide theme Walk : Holes! Finish Time: 4:00pm. Walk for explorers of all ages looking for empty spaces, eg worm tubes, empty shells and perfect circles. Followed by celebration tea at the Beach House Café (£3). Visit the old town and "Go Wild on the Beach". Starts 2.00pm, finsihes 4.00pm. The event takes place on the Rock a Nore car park where you can join the rangers for an afternoon of play on the beach, there will be lots of exiting and fun packed games and activities for children. Join Melanie Wrigley of White Cliffs Countryside Project for a Seashore Safari across Samphire Hoe. Meet at the site management office, Samphire Hoe at 6:45pm (off A20 driving out of Dover) pay/display Finish 7:45 pm. Look for the myriad of life that lives on the beach/in rock pools. Meet at Souter Lighthouse, Coast Road, Whitburn at 8:00am for a Rockpool Ramble. Visit the nearby rocky foreshore and discover it's amazing residents.
