(1) Event: A marine family fun day with environmental games, solar powered science lab, touch tanks, storytelling, facepainting and much more! Start time: 12.00 End time: 17.00
(2) Event: Celebrate the low tide of our shores with the Thanet Coast Project and Millenium Volunteers. Join in with parachute games and the hunt for marine beasties in our rockpools! The focus will be rock pooling so people should wear shoes that they don't mind getting wet. Start time: 17.30 End time: 19.30
(3) Event: Lowtide Evening Rock Pooling & Beach Picnic. Join the Lowtide Celebrations with a chance to discover the exciting wildlife, both seaweed and animals of a rocky shore. In the heritage coast of The White Cliffs of Dover. Bring a picnic & warm drink for the beach picnic. Please wear wellies or footwear with good grip. Start time: 18.00 End time: 20.00
(4) Event: "The wonders of the mudflats". Why not discover the wonders of the Burry Inlet. Whilst the mudflats can be seen from afar, this is the perfect opportunity to get out and discover some of their secrets. Bring Wellington boots. Start time: 13.00 End time: 15.00
(5) Event: "Low Tide Fun Day". A fantastic coastal funday, looking at life between the tides in rock pools & sandy beaches, through theatre shows, arts workshops, rock pooling & many other fun activities. Wear outdoor footware and clothing. Start time: 10.30 End time: 15.00
(6) Event: A gentle walk out over the sand to the rocks exposed at low tide.Wear wellies or water sandals.
(7) Event: Solar boat trip with special theme to celebrate Lowtide Day. Bring a picnic, tea to eat on board. Dress for all weather conditions! Booking essential. Cost: £6.50 adults, £3 children. Start time: 15.30

(9) Event: Rockpool ramble over some of North Sands'intertidal rocky shore, looking at the coulorful communities of seashore life that cling to the rocks or shelter within the rockpools of this relatively wave-exposed shore. Aggresive devil crabs, inquisitive blennies, colonial sea-squirst and manicuring shrimps to name but a few. The walk will cover less than a mile but over some slippery and uneven rocks- so not recommended for dogs or toddlers! Please wear appropiate clothing and wellies. Start time: 11.30 End time: 13.00

Litter Grime Line - learn about the time it takes for waste to
decompose, and also which items can and cannot be recycled. Foreshore Explorer - make a map of the area, search for artefacts and enjoy and talk about the way the Thames has been used in the past. Start time: 10.00 End time: 12.00 noon
(11) Event: Birling
Gap is being visited by tourists for over a hundred years - but
on low tide day you can meet some "green tourists" who
are completely new to the idea of the sea and tides. You can help
them discover more about what the sea does and how we affect the
beach and wildlife. "Low Tide Day" - we will be looking at eco-tourism, recycling
and creative beach activities. Start time: 11.00 End time: 14.00

Event: Closer view of what

People of all ages are invited to come and explore the shore with marine
experts to identify and count the different types of species which people
normally wouldn't notice or stop to look at.
Organiser, Jacque Merrick from the Cycleau Cornwall project said, 'The
aim of the day is to raise awareness of just how many different types
of species exist along the shore line and the new St Gothian Sands LNR,and
learn about their importance. Everyone of all ages is invited to come
along to this free event and have fun learning.
