riverOcean is a non-profit making environmental organization, based in Brighton, which focuses on water and works in the three main areas of research, education, and communication.

Every year we hold LowTide, a free marine-orientated festival, on the Saturday in May with the lowest tide. Our aim is to offer people the opportunity to explore and celebrate local inter-tidal sites and other aspects of the sea.

With over 5 years experience of hosting outdoor events, we can now offer a full range of festival services including the hire of our high quality Mongolian style yurts. As well as being extremely durable and weather proof, our yurts attract a high degree of interest due to their stunning visual appeal.

Choose from two custom built Mongolian style Yurts.

Approx. size of each Yurt is 5 m diameter/19 m square. The yurts will each seat up to 30 children or 20 adults.
