The Cuckmere is an excellent place for canoeing. Anyone can go but you have to be able to swim just in case you capsize. All equipment is supplied in the barn. There is always someone at the barn to help you get started. You can also have canoeing lessons. Canoeing costs £5 a day to hire a canoe and £30 to be a member at the canoeing club you can be a member for a year until you have to pay again for next year. Lessons cost £12 for 2 hours for three hours it costs £18.
