Do you want to make a difference?

River Ocean Foundation's aim is to encourage care for our water environment and to make its environmental projects accessible and relevant to all members of the community, including people with learning difficulties.
You could contribute to the success of our projects and make a real difference to the participants with whom we work. There are plenty of opportunities to become involved, either 'behind the scenes' or through project related 'contact time', no previous experience is necessary.
For example, you could help run a project, raise funds for the charity, help project participants to get the most out their time with each project, build bridges between individuals and groups, contribute fresh ideas to the charity, or use your office experience to help administer our work.
We offer training and support and a chance to gain experience in a unique line of work.

Are you interested in environmental issues?

The River Ocean Foundation is a registered charity (1079510) dedicated to increasing awareness of, and encouraging care for our water environment. We run a range of exiting and innovative environmental education projects in Brighton and the South East area (see projects).
Because we view the water environment as an integral part of the wider environment, our projects may focus on other areas (such as a whole river valley, or woodland adjacent to water) from time to time.

Do you have some spare time available?

There are many flexible opportunities available, for example:

a few hours a week office support
regular project related field activities
medium or long-term office internships
